A beautiful morning

First time at the beach house in three weeks. Woke at a rested hour, and went out in the cool crispness of a clear and sunny morning. Birds were active, especially the loud and melodious tui.

This one sat singing lustily while I managed to get the right shot.

I am very pleased with this. It doesn't increase the number of specie photographed this year, but does give me my best shot of a tui for this year.
