Out and About

St John's Episcopal Church

It was impossible to do justice to the inside of this church justice. So many stained glass windows, an amazing roof and a huge organ. I snapped quickly before the Simply Soweto Encha capella came on to entertain us with extremely energetic singing, stamping and dancing

The highlight of today however was listening to Val McDermid the Scottish crime writer. She is a larger than life character and was the first girl from a Scottish state school to go to Oxford University. After listening to her I have ordered her book A Darker Domain that features the miners strike as it affected Fife.
