Tonight I took part in the second Argyll & Bute Unison members referendum information event , this tine in Dunoon's Burgh Hall. Those who could not make it will have a chance to hear it on Oban FM which has embarked on an ambitious programme of recording and transmitting a number of Argyll campaign meetings , leading up to,a live Q&A on the day before polling.

There was a change of personnel from last week's event in Oban with Labour far better represented by my MSP colleague and old friend David Stewart and the Greens on the platform in the shape of the well informed and engaging Elaine Morrison who has contested Argyll & Bute before and who lives by Loch Fyne.

Alan Reid MP and I were the constants though and next Friday we will be at loggerheads again on Islay this time at a hustings arranged by The Ileach ( the local community newspaper ) and with , once more, different platform companions.
