Dunwich Heath
Even on a dullish afternoon, walking across Dunwich Heath was intoxicating. The vivid colour and scent of the heather, the bees and solitary wasps and smart stonechats with their tchak-tchak calls made it a memorable walk. To cap it all I had a good, but brief, view of a Dartford warbler - sadly no chance to even get the camera out, so the image must remain in my head.
