London, Day 2

Jet lag mostly overcome. A much more memorable and clear day in London. Visited the Tower of London early morning. Marveled at the seamless integration of ancient relics and medieval architecture amongst modern buildings and tall skyscrapers. Sadly forgot my camera for the Tower of London. Also visited St. Paul's Cathedral on the way back to the Hotel. Upon returning, went to a small, hip coffee shop for a delicious mint tea. Then, India restaurant dinner. Concluded the night with our first venture to a London pub, where we met Sherridan, a flight attendant stuck in layover. Talked at length and had one too many bottles of Kopparberg pear ciders. Walked around London with Jake before retiring at hotel.
