Windermere and beyond

Today's the day ........................ to count my blessings

It was lovely to meet up with Will's cousin Amanda and her friend Desiré at Blackwell this morning. They are here in the Lake District for the weekend and it was good to have a chat and catch up with all the news.

This was the view from the terrace looking across Windermere to the Old Man of Coniston - and it made me realise how lucky we are to live in this part of the world. We can come and see a view like this anytime we like - and we tend to take that for granted.
