I said goodbye today.

To a pair of shoes I have had for over fifteen years.

Following an incident last week when I went out at lunchtime, my feet got wet and took on the blue dye. It has taken me a week to get them in the bin.

I have walked miles in them, and saved lives in them..

I miss them already.
