Bike ride to Rising Sun Country Park...

...from Tynemouth, along the old Wagonways ( mercifully, very little on roads! ).
This is the early section along the Tyne towards the fish quays at North Shields ( Sue in the pink jacket still talking to me - oops - she hadnt computed the time spent stopping for photos... )
I wasn't allowed coffee at the Royal Quays, but the wait was well worth it - latte and a chocolate donut at the Rising Sun Country Park ( on the site of an old pit ).
New routes prospected for the return journey - never lost,  but always slightly wondering...
