Here we go round the Mulberry Bush

I know this may not be the most exciting blip but for me it is great :-)

I bought a Mulberry bush (tree really) ages ago and last year it's trunk suddenly doubled in width and it fruited for the first time, I'm guessing about 10 fruits. This year it has gone crazy fruiting. It's amazing. You can see signs of further fruit in the background colouration of the photo. The elongated berries are all at differing stages, some clear/white, some pink, some red, some black. It has these wonderful large, leathery leaves too but there are some gaps for light to stray in. Standing inside/underneath the tree is fab, like being in another world!

In other news the garden is terribly overgrown, I'm just letting that though hang right there . . .

I found 4 grey hairs on my head! They have appeared suddenly and without warning! What is this about? My mum only went grey when she was into her 60s from what I recall and I assumed the same would happen to me. They may be study related if such a thing can be proven . . . hopefully I am near to the end and this should stop grey hairs in their tracks!

I have also decided in preparation for buying no new clothes for a year I would buy one "big" winter jumper (just in case) as I only own one big jumper presently which I wear all the time. I found one huge thing which looks more like a survival device, albeit quirky and pretty. I'd look like a sheep dog walking down the road wearing it but on the off chance of being snowed in (I think we may be due for that this year) I bought it. It is handmade and will last for years I hope. I think that is going to be my final purchase!

Wishing everyone a relaxing (long, if you have one!) weekend!
