Bonnybridge Memorial Garden

I've been meaning (aka I've been trying) to take this photo for a while. I have either left it too late and found the gates / archway in shadow, or the sun has decided to do a disappearing act when I've passed this way, or... I can think of several excuses.

But I was back at the village library on Thursday, the sun was shining, I had my camera with me and so the deed was done.

I like the setting with the gates and the colours of the flower-beds, still pretending that it's summer, and glad that I have ticked that particular 'to-do' off my list.
