Just checking!

Out walking at Lamberts Castle with Jinxy this morning I spotted these two little calves laid up in a small coppice and took the picture as I was passing. (small picture)

As I walked on by one of the cows who was grazing near by walked over to the coppice making low noises and went to see the calves, nuzzling their heads and licking them. She was just checking if they were OK having no doubt watched Jinxy and me walking past.
