Spinning

Not much time for photos today, but I did stop by the Bow Little Market at lunch and took a quick picture of Donna, spinning some of her shetland rovings, with veggies in the background and several fleeces for sale surrounding her. She and her husband run Schoonover Farm, where they grow their own food and raise sheep, pigs, goats, rabbits, llamas, dogs, cats, chickens, and etc. I buy fleece from her each year to spin. Self-reliance and sustainability are rare in this day and age, and I appreciate her lifestyle and all the hard work they both do. Plus, they are really nice folks. :)
