Winners
Here are Penn State School of Theatre, who won the Holden Street Theatres Award, for their production 'Blood At The Root'. Their prize is to have their production presented at the Adelaide Fringe in 2015. Dominique Morisseau's drama explores racial tensions at a divided American high school. Inspired by the true story of six black teenagers charged with the attempted murder of a white student after a schoolyard fight, the performance is infused with music and movement. This seems particularly pertinent bearing in mind the current issues going on in Ferguson, Missouri.
After the show KryptoMart, and I went to Dynamic Earth to see their spectacular Sonic Vision, sound and lumiere show.
Friday tomorrow, hurrah!
