Loopy Lorna's Tea House

We got up very late today, we probably didn't get out of bed until 12... and we couldn't decide what we going to do.

Eventually J suggested going to have lunch at the tea place in Morningside - Loopy Lorna's. I couldn't believe it when we got there and saw some people waiting outside queuing for a table! It was very busy, I think we waited about 15 minutes... but the wait was well worth it!

We both decided to have a sandwich - which came in a really good size with a good salad and Kettle Chips. After our main, we decided to share one of their famous home baked cakes, a slice of Coffee and Walnut cake to share... when it arrived, I was thinking - luckily we ordered one to share! The slice was huge!!!

I must recommend this place, their portions are generous for the price you pay, and it has a really good atmosphere, J and I really enjoyed our afternoon there. Be prepared to wait however, we went in about 1pm and it was still heaving with people queuing when we left at 3-ish...
