Rock and roll...

Well, after tea and cake ofcourse.

This is Prides band. They're fast becoming a big deal, once the secret was out and they exploded onto the stage at the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.

But today, they played in my chum's living room. It's the second time she has hosted someone bubbling under on the music scene - house gigs are de rigeur these days.

Prides were charming and just the right side of down to earth. When they started playing we were enthralled. Beautiful harmonies and songs that were somehow just as interesting stripped back.
