The Meadows

Well it was an 'interesting' day weatherwise. We started off accompanying Jamie to her first day back at school - new year and all that stuff. Needless to say the second she reached her classroom we may as well have been invisible.

Then we had a bit of a shopping trip - the plan being to find new trainers for me but that was a failed endeavour. I did however find a couple of bits in TK Max that will appear in a still life when I get home.

After a quick bits (toasted teacake) I disappeared off into town - a bit dull at first, then lovely sunshine and then minutes later rain, hail and thunder. Fortunately I'd noticed the clouds coming over and made it undercover with plenty of time to spare.

At least I got a pleasant potter into town, a trip up to the terrace at the Museum, a portion of the Royal Mile covered and then rain - so I gave in and got the bus home.
