SALE ARCHITECTE?

When I saw the published plans for the pale blue, grey & white building on the left my heart sank.

"Sale architecte" came to mind... That's a Brussels epithet for anyone who makes a mess of our environment.

Actually I reckon the guy did a pretty good job considering it's next door to a lovely 1902 Art Deco building. Could have done without the "harlequin" squares under the tower's hat, but "chapeau, ("hats off") sale architecte"!
