The Edinburgh Summer
After a couple of weeks of blisteringly hot weather in July, Edinburgh seems to have jumped straight into winter. A thunderstorm is fairly typical of late, but a hailstorm in August? Really?
After a busy day delivering a conference on health inequalities and vulnerable adults, the last thing I wanted was to be caught behind tourists wandering the rain. Seemingly they'll always go at the one pace, regardless of the weather. Here are some ambling up the Royal Mile.
Tonight was my last review of the fringe. It's been an interesting experience, but I'm now looking forward to seeing a couple of shows without my notepad!
