Another Zero Day

Weather was a bit cold this morning - snow - so decided I wasn't going to play.

Had another reason which is the laptop for the car arrived. Decided that I really did need to make the Mercedes work (find another gear other than 2nd) seeing as I'm finishing soon.

Spent the day banging my head against the wall and ended up with making zero progress with the gearbox, but now the turbo isn't working either. Great.

But I have discovered that the way to start the electric fans is to hit them with a moderate sized rock. The more you hit them, the faster they get. Result.

It's probably time to make a decision about the car now. The hotel have said they'll store it for the winter, that'll leave me able to fly back to the UK and then home. I just need to check with the owner of the car first before I leave it here. Maybe we'll make a trip out next year with the parts to fix it??
