I think I've finally figured out what went so horribly wrong with my laptop and cleaned up the mess. It seems to be running as normal...

Early start today so that we could go out to the City Of Bears and rebuild the massive bookcase that we dismantled on Sunday.

I wasn't looking forward to that but, as it turned out, it was a piece of cake. If your cake was a showstopper from Great British Bake-Off.

And then back home to weed out the problems on my laptop. Happy about that.

Not so happy that when I got up this morning, I had to switch on lights to see what I was doing. It shouldn't be autumn yet. It really shouldn't.
