It's a long way to Rye!

My lovely sister gave us an 'Afternoon Tea for 2' voucher last Christmas. We finally got round to using it today after our false start last week.

We had a really nice afternoon mooching round the shops before making our way to the Rye Lodge Hotel. I starved myself all day expecting the usual finger sandwiches, scones and cake but sadly I think they forgot the sandwiches!!!

I was a shame the closest place that took the voucher was a round trip of 84 miles!!! I did get a few Heart bits though while we were there.

Found this Heart blip on the church floor of all places while waiting for Mr W as he looked round it.
