waiting for the catch..........

Stayed overnight at the lake and was woken early by the fishermen banging drums and shouting as they came into shore having been out fishing in the dugout canoes all night.  Got out of bed and wandered along to the fishing village where these people were waiting for the boats.  The catch was not bad - lots of Usipa - small fish and a few larger fish.  However, when distributed among everyone it made little food for families!

Back to Mzuzu this afternoon......
