Day 3: Nantwich to Shrewsbury 36 miles
Time constraints necessitated a short journey back home. This, however, was made longer by a strong headwind and a short break for coffee and cake in Wem. It's a well known Law of Cycling that there's always a headwind.

News today that a deal has been struck for Coventry City to return to the Ricoh Arena rather than playing 'home' games 35 miles away in Northampton. Our first match back at our proper home will be on 5 September against Gillingham.
