Petals of yellow and white Iris

Lovely walk around Chelts today with my neighbour Ann. We must have walked 5 or 6 miles. Then paperwork this afternoon. I had bought a bunch of Iris flowers and seemed to have an individual bloom at each stage of bud to full flower so I spent about half an hour photographing them in their various stages. Great fun but I decided I liked the shell like shapes created by this extreme close up.
