Shades of Lavender

Just thought I'd slip this in before turning the light out, a rather hurried shot with the macro lens of my hydrangea, taken inside as it was not a day to be out in the bitterly cold wind - winter has returned!

Both mum and I are on hydrangea's today, mum's shot is here , some lovely delicate shades of blue. We had a wonderful day together, lunching, grocery shopping and a little inside photography, lots of fun :)

There is a reason I'm late tonight, I've been getting acquainted with a new lens which didn't quite go to plan, another day tomorrow.
