Aurora no show!

Worth looking BIG!

Had a text from Stormchayser this evening telling me that the aurora was likely to be visible tonight - so I dived in the car and drove the the side of Bassenthwaite Lake. Tried a few shots, but the cloud was pretty thick, the few gaps that came showed no sign of the Aurora. I waited until about 1am, then headed home and to bed. Apparently there was a no show in most areas too.

I'll keep on trying.
