A late rose

Our roses haven’t had a long flowering season this year, but this one was peeking out from behind other bushes.

I didn’t initially plan to blip this. I spent a couple of hours tidying up the wild flower area “over the wall” which was planted up a few months ago and had doubled in height.

I was going to do a before and after shot, but after I had removed all the nettles (40% of the growth) and the rubbish that swept through during the recent flood, it looked a right mess.
