World Orang utan day

Yesterday (as this was taken then) was world orang utan day at Twycross zoo and in celebration all red-heads got in free!
I took my friend Lala with us (free) but it was soooo busy I turned back at first then after lunch & a couple of hours at soft play we returned at 2pm where we were told that over 8000 red heads had been through the gates. Their aim it seems was to get 10000 in so they would have more red heads in the zoo than Orang utans in the rest of the world! How sad is that? Poor creatures.

I couldn't get near enough to the red head 3 year old Molly to get a good shot so I got this one of Sid the sloth (well that's what miniman called him) instead.
