some pitch!

Bit of a miserable day again today weather wise, good for the rugby though.......here's hoping we might produce the kind of unexpected result I remember we produced the year I took my nephew Tom to a Scotland- France game at Murrayfield ...we were expected to do disastrously (it was in our pretty poor spell in the earlier part of the 00s) and we overturned all those presumptions to fantastic effect!

This local sign which I took on my way to the shops has always amused me...it's the juxtaposition of the wording with the architecture of this funny little building that's appealing....the building sits over the old South Suburban Railway Line (nine minutes in those days from Morningside to Waverley station). I think it must once have been a signalman's box....
