River Yare

This from Fye Bridge, 2 mins walk ( literaly ) from my flat. The Wharf on the right was where much of Norwich goods would be landed from shipping. Since the 90's & the opening of the Southern Bypass the roadbridge obstructed the river shipping to all but Broads Cruisers. So a route used for who knows how long was lost to the motor car.
This patch has got increasingly gentrified, as has much of the river as Norwich lost all it's industry.
Note the Swan family approaching : they have 2 cygnets & patrol this stretch of the river.
