Heavens Above!

It's a clear crisp night out there, and the view of the stars above the house was breathtaking - even more than the cold air itself!

Whilst the naked eye doesn't see what a 30 second exposure at high ISOs may see, the Milky Way's faint dust could be seen in the skies above.

What I love about this exposure though is the fact that the 'kiwi' in the Milky Way is quite visible (look for the dark shape to the right of the chimney). Neat eh?
