Watery wednesday 3

I wanted to fit in the heather this week as it is pretty spectacular (difficult to capture though) so I headed off to this spot recommended by my husband. As it was an early start, in my terms, I took breakfast. That the breakfast was hot chocolate and warm home-made american pancakes is a pointer to it being unseasonably cold for August in the SW of the UK.

And I enjoyed the amble, waiting for the sun to pop out from behind the clouds and my breakfast picnic. I also appreciated the scarf that I took with me - just in case.
