Coming Soon....

One of the village shops is about to have a new occupiant - gone is the beauticians (always wondered how they survived), and coming soon is a fruit and veg shop.

Personally I think that this is fantastic news as it's the local farming community, cuts down the food miles and I'd much rather we had basic shops like these in the village. I hope that it gets the support it deserves.

In the meantime, I love the way the window has been blocked off with colourful weekly magazines instead of the usual newspapers - you're almost tempted to stand in front of them, reading last month's gossip!
