Laykin

Travelled down to this cottage in Swaledale today. We packed the car to full capacity with all our luggage and food.

It was lovely sunny weather on drive down. Unfortunately this meant that the sun was shining into the car and we had to stop and create a blind for Orla. We also stopped at Tebay to get some quality locally produced cheese.

The cottage is absolutely fantastic. It was refurbished to a very high standard just last year and we a very impressed with it.

Rick and Lili arrived just after us. We got to enjoy the great views of Swaldale from the cottage before the fog rolled in and obscured it. Ol and Iain didn't arrive until after dark.

Anne made Porcetta for dinner - very nice. We played some Triv and Articulate after dinner, then had a go on Wii Sports Resort.
