Shoes

The shoes so carefully place and awaiting the wake up time - if I lived not down a major hill and two miles away as I passed him on my morning walk loop - I would have come back with a tray that had nice soft boiled egg cooked just right, a gently toasted English muffin with my date spread, and a zinnia from my garden in a vase, for his breakfast. And fresh hot coffee.
