Zoom Lens

I've had my camera for over three years and I have always said the zoom lens wasn't very good. Now at this point I have to confess that I don't read instruction manuals. Anyway, during the holidays I started pressing buttons and changing settings without really knowing what I was doing and hey presto - my zoom lens is actually much better than I thought!! On the down side, all the pictures are saving as huge files and I can't upload any onto Facebook. Guess I will sort that next time I'm pressing random buttons and changing settings!!
