Beautiful Days - day 1

Omg what an amazing day!

Everyone so friendly and chatty - proper old school festy! Melody took a while to get her bearings as there was 30,000 people - but she was in her element - we walked round stalls and bouncy castle - listened to story time and syed in play tents - before watching some bands on the grass - melody loved it tho - she had her ear defenders but was dancing and talking to people - she was happy sat around the blanket - tasting foods and seeing all the sights - went to some rides in children's area and then more bands - melody awake until about 10 and after the beautiful south we headed back and I took her to the tent - bit tipsy on a the cider but still ok to make her a well earned hot choc! Mike went back out to Tinarawen and I didn't hear him come back :) so sleepy and slept amazing as mike had brought few blankies from the car!
