...The European Peacock Butterfly - what a poser this one was. They enjoy sunbathing and today we had a lovely day.
This one was one of many enjoying the nectar from the Buddleia, the little line of spots running down the edge of their wings were exactly the same colour as the Buddleia they were enjoying. This one against the green foliage with the Sun on it just jumped out at me from the screen, it looks almost 3D.

Today was my Mum's birthday, so I took her to a garden centre in the country. We had lunch and huge cakes. The she wandered around for ages and not once did I hurry her up...well it was her birthday :-)
The middle sister took her out to lunch yesterday and the eldest sister will be visiting this weekend..and yes, we'll go out for lunch again.

Then it was daughter 2 to trampoline class as I was a bad Mother and failed to get her signed up to gymnastics on time, but she loved it so that worked out ok. Then swiftly home for dinner then out again for daughter 1 for karate, home again, Skype bedtime story with the Daddy and a couple of painkillers for my poor sore head. Busy day.
