I have to thank you, my blip friends, for you have been a great help to me in a way that I would not have imagined.

You have dragged me back into my own, original cultural identity from which I had gradually drifted away.

I'm a malleable sort of person and I'd adapted to another culture to such an extent that it has led to many false assumptions and misunderstandings.

I'm learning to be calmly assertive again, to set boundaries and to regain the respect that I should never have undervalued.

Thank you. I'm grateful. :-)

After another long day, we decided to try a pizza, round the corner, under new management.
Stefano's pizza arrived, mine didn't, so I ate a piece of his, came home and had gorgonzola and bread for dinner instead. At least I didn't have to cook and there was still lots of home made lemon ice cream in the freezer and I still had time for blip!
