Birds Nest

Staying at Granö Beckasin this evening in one of their bird's nests! The hotel has several cabins perched in the trees overlooking Umeå River and I was lucky to be able to stay in one of these. It's wonderful lying in bed to be able to see the trees and the river below- and to enjoy the total silence of the forest.

I'm here together with colleagues from the university to plan our work for the autumn semester so it's not just rest and relaxation. We have been working hard today and will continue tomorrow - and at the same time we're having a lot of fun!
