I would not normally classify myself as particularly observant.....

However let me explain:

Here you see honey being poured in to a 28lb bucket in readiness for storage through the winter.

The honey stream has come out of a round orifice. Why would the rising column from the surface of the honey in the bucket appear to be rectangular?
