Ben Wyvis from Newmore, Muir of Ord

This is a popular Munro and if you decide to climb the path goes from just beyond Garve up the left hand side. Just as you think you have reached the top you realise that the actual summit is on the right as this photo clearly shows . So you still have a mile to walk along the top.
At one time there were plans for a railway which would have made the ascent much easier. However nothing has ever come of that idea.
