Aim for the gap....

...not the obstacle!
Was the mantra often shouted between riders when I used to thunder down this very track some 20 years ago.
I would fix my steely gaze at the gap between these posts and whiz through without touching the brakes.
Today however I approached it in a circumspect manor befitting my age.
I also think the Kona hardtail I rode back then may have been a couple of inches narrower at the bars.
