Zuoz in sunshine

The forecast was rain and after a cloudy morning the sun broke through. Today is the last day of the summer holidays so a relaxing day was in order. Our afternoon stroll, up the valley to the next village and back the other side of the river, took in new paths and new discoveries: a tree trunk shredder and a blacksmith shoeing horses - modern technology versus traditional. People were out making the most of the sunshine be it playing golf, riding horses, walking, cycling, skating, exercising dogs or working in the farms, stables, fields or forests.
This shot looks across the river to the village of Zuoz: tomorrow I shall be starting my new job and walking to work. Our house is the terracotta building to the bottom left above the train and the Lyceum is the large terracotta building next to the church.
