Bud today, blossom tomorrow

Still counting apricot blossoms...

I quite liked the the tightly curled leaf, buds and blossoms in one shot, encapsulating the cycle of new life.

Yesterday's lovely (too) early-spring day has made way for the Cape's finest winter weather: howling winds, grey clouds, rain and freezing cold. Oh well, nothing a pot of soup and a fire won't cure.
