Tattoo

Back in the capital tonight for the military tattoo part two.

It was excellent.

Edinburgh though is a hell of a place to drive in. It is poorly signposted making it easy to get lost.

Asking for directions is also a bit of a 'mare with puzzled looks and at times just downright rudeness.

Having experienced the tourist bit in both Glasgow and Auld Reekie, the warmth and character of what was the Empire's second city wins hands down.

Edinburgh has a lot of charm and is a bit more 'touristy', however in my view the wit and humour of the Glasgow people trump any old building the capital has.
