I have retreated this weekend to the textile workshop weekend that I have been coming to three times a year for a few years. At least it feels like a retreat from the stresses and strains of the working week, to a place where I can indulge my creative juices and just concentrate on that rather than the host of other stuff that usually takes up my weekend.

This is a shot of my samples that I've been trying out, drawing onto fabric with various media. I'm pretty pleased with the results and now need to get on with trying out some stitch on the drawings ready for producing them in larger scale for an exhibition I'm taking part in in June.
