My connections to our home here in Florida are growing just like the roots of the Royal Poinciana pictured here in our front yard. This tree was planted a few months after we moved here. Compare the tall tree you see in the middle of my photo with it's full leaves, sturdy trunk and large roots to what it looked like in January of 2013. Amazing!!! next year I hope it will flower. So delicious!

As the tree grows it's roots deep into the soil, so do I.
