Canal User Meets Canal Dwellers

My new Nikon again shows it's limitations, the swans are glowing as do most white subjects whilst the focus is not great. However, I took it back to Jessops where the service was excellent. They examined the camera to make sure it isn't faulty and let me use other makes of cameras of the same price. It turned out that the Nikon gives visibly better results than rival makes. Seems that this is what you get for a budget of £150-£200. My DSLR fund is still going, decided on the model that's my target. One day...
