STRANGE SHOPPER!

I walked the dogs before going to the swimming pool for water aerobics. I went into town on my way home to buy a present for my nephew's new baby girl.
This figure ( about 8 feet tall) was standing in the shopping precinct, there were no signs giving any indication of it's purpose. I shall watch with interest to see if there are any other additions or clues as to why it is there!

We started emptying and sorting out wardrobes in one of our spare bedrooms, prior to decorating it. We had very heavy rain showers in the afternoon, but we managed to take the dogs out for a walk without getting too wet.
